1. Provide exceptional orthopedic care to our patients in accordance with our mission and values.
2. Serve as the Associate Medical Director for the orthopedic department, providing leadership and guidance to the team.
3. Collaborate with other members of the leadership team to shape and enhance the orthopedic department's goals and objectives.
4. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the orthopedic department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Maintain a strong knowledge of current trends and advancements in orthopedic surgery to ensure the highest level of patient care.
6. Work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and other department heads to develop and implement policies and procedures related to orthopedic surgery.
7. Provide mentorship and guidance to other orthopedic surgeons, residents, and medical students within the organization.
8. Maintain open communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and drive performance improvement in the orthopedic department.
10. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to orthopedic surgery, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
11. Act as a liaison between the orthopedic department and other departments within the organization.
12. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, conferences, and professional development opportunities.
13. Represent the organization and promote its mission and values in the medical community.
14. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in orthopedic surgery to continually improve the department's services.
