- Work closely with external legal counsel as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth procurement process.
- Manage and oversee junior legal team members, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement law.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all legal matters.
A Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School And Admission To The State Bar.
Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, With A Focus On Procurement And Contract Negotiation.
Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Procurement, Including But Not Limited To The Federal Acquisition Regulation (Far) And State-Specific Procurement Codes.
Proven Experience In Managing A Team And Providing Leadership And Guidance On Legal Matters Related To Procurement.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Internal Stakeholders And External Partners.
