  1. Lead and manage a team of behavioral health clinicians, including therapists, counselors, and other support staff.
  2. Ensure the delivery of high-quality and comprehensive behavioral health services to patients.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of care and compliance with regulations.
  4. Provide guidance and support to clinicians, including training, supervision, and performance evaluations.
  5. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
  6. Monitor and analyze team performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhancement.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and community organizations to enhance the effectiveness and reach of behavioral health services.
  8. Stay current on industry developments and best practices to inform decision-making and drive innovation.
  9. Handle escalated patient concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  10. Work closely with upper management to develop and implement strategic plans for the Behavioral Health Clinical Services team.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  12. Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members.
  13. Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and organization.
  14. Conduct regular meetings with team members to provide updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback.
  15. Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and other events related to behavioral health services.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Behavioral Health Clinical Setting. This Should Include Experience In Managing A Team Of Clinicians And Overseeing The Delivery Of High-Quality Patient Care.

  • A Master's Degree In A Related Field Such As Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or Nursing. This Educational Background Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Understand And Effectively Manage The Clinical Aspects Of A Behavioral Health Program.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills. A Manager Of Behavioral Health Clinical Services Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Their Team, Patients, And Other Healthcare Professionals To Ensure Coordinated And Effective Care.

  • Experience With Program Development And Implementation. Elevance Health Is Committed To Innovation And Continuously Improving Their Services. A Qualified Manager Should Have Experience In Developing And Implementing New Programs And Services To Better Meet The Needs Of Patients.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies Related To Behavioral Health. This Includes Hipaa Regulations, Insurance Billing And Coding, And State And Federal Laws Related To Mental Health Services. A Qualified Manager Must Ensure Compliance With These Regulations To Maintain The Integrity And Quality Of Elevance Health's Services.
