Managed Care Coordinator Clinician - Non RN

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.The essential qualifications for this position include a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; at least two years of experience in a clinical setting; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to work both independently and in a team environment; and advanced knowledge of managed care principles and practices. Responsibilities:

1. Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with managed care organizations and Medicare Advantage Plans.
3. Make patient care decisions based on advanced knowledge of managed care principles and practices.
4. Monitor patient care and progress to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided.
5. Provide education to patients and their families regarding managed care plans and services.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care.
7. Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that patient needs are met.
8. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.
9. Assist in developing and implementing new managed care policies and procedures.
10. Maintain confidentiality of all patient data.
