
FinOps Cloud Engineer
Welcome to the Elevance Health FinOps Cloud Engineering team! We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our rapidly expanding team of forward-thinking professionals. As a FinOps Cloud Engineer, you will have a unique opportunity to work with the latest cloud technologies and tools while ensuring the successful and secure operation of Elevance Health's cloud environment. As a FinOps Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the financial and operational aspects of the cloud environment, from cost optimization to automation. You will design and develop solutions for cost optimization and automation, as well as ensure that the environment meets all security and compliance requirements. Additionally, you will work closely with the Cloud Engineering and IT teams to ensure that the cloud environment is running efficiently and securely.To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record in cloud cost optimization and automation along with strong knowledge of cloud security and compliance. Experience with AWS or Azure cloud technologies is highly desired. Experience with DevOps tools, such as Terraform and Jenkins, is also beneficial. Finally, you should possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions to optimize cloud costs and automate processes.
- Ensure that the cloud environment meets all security and compliance requirements.
- Work with Cloud Engineering and IT teams to ensure the cloud environment is running efficiently and securely.
- Monitor cloud costs and usage and develop strategies to reduce costs.
- Maintain the cloud environment to ensure availability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
- Research and recommend new cloud technologies and tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to the cloud environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure successful cloud operations.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in cloud technology and security.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field
+ Years Of Experience In Software Engineering/Architecture
Proven Experience With Aws And Related Cloud Technologies
Expertise In Automation And Scripting
Proficiency In Cost Optimization And Cost Management On The Cloud
Strong Understanding Of Devops
