Job Description

Elevance Health is looking for a FinOps Cloud Engineer who is passionate about helping us build and maintain our cloud-based financial operations. As a FinOps Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and operation of our cloud-based financial operations and solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background in financial operations, cloud-based technologies, and financial services.We are looking for a FinOps Cloud Engineer who is highly organized, self-motivated, and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should have a passion for learning and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team. You should also have a deep understanding of various cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, as well as experience with scripting and automation tools. The ideal candidate should have a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and at least five years of experience in financial operations and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based financial operations and solutions.
  2. Monitor and troubleshoot issues within the financial operations and cloud-based systems.
  3. Implement scripting and automation tools to optimize efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth functioning of financial operations.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with cloud platform vendors, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
  6. Conduct financial analysis and provide feedback on financial operations processes and systems.
  7. Monitor and analyze financial operations performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
  8. Stay up-to-date with new technologies in cloud-based financial operations and services.
  9. Provide technical support and training to internal teams.
