1. Manage and oversee all financial accounting operations for Elevance Health.
2. Execute and maintain accurate and timely financial processes, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
3. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by performing regular audits and reconciliations.
4. Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement standardized accounting procedures and best practices.
5. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, potential discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
6. Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
7. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance.
9. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
10. Train and mentor new team members on accounting processes and procedures.
