Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and evaluate public policy initiatives that are based on data and research.
2. Analyze policy issues and research trends to better inform decision-making.
3. Monitor and respond to emerging public policy issues.
4. Represent the Public Policy Institute of Elevance Health at legislative and regulatory meetings.
5. Develop relationships with government officials, policy makers, and advocacy groups to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
6. Analyze and interpret relevant legislation and policy documents.
7. Prepare and submit reports to internal and external stakeholders.
8. Stay abreast of developments in public policy and health.
9. Develop strategies and materials to effectively communicate the public policy institute’s positions and initiatives.
10. Lead public policy-related projects, providing guidance and direction to staff and stakeholders.
