  1. Develop and implement company-wide compliance policies and procedures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related inquiries and concerns from internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance standards are met in all areas of the company.
  5. Monitor changes in laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant departments.
  6. Plan and conduct compliance training for employees to promote understanding and adherence to compliance policies.
  7. Investigate and report any potential compliance violations and recommend appropriate disciplinary action.
  8. Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory agencies.
  9. Maintain and update compliance-related documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
  10. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in healthcare compliance and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with external regulatory agencies and industry organizations.
  12. Liaise with legal counsel to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
  13. Lead and facilitate internal compliance committee meetings.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on compliance issues and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.
  15. Continuously assess and improve the company's compliance program to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: A Compliance Manager At Elevance Health Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of All Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Industry Standards Related To Healthcare Compliance, Including Hipaa, Medicare/Medicaid, And The Affordable Care Act.

  • Experience In Compliance Management: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience In A Compliance Role, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry. This Should Include A Strong Understanding Of Compliance Processes And Procedures, As Well As Experience Designing And Implementing Compliance Programs.

  • Leadership And Problem-Solving Abilities: As A Compliance Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Making Critical Decisions.
