  1. Oversee and manage all clinical operations within the organization.

  10. Participate in cross-functional meetings and collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment and synergy across the organization.
  11. Mentor and develop staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  12. Act as a liaison between Elevance Health and external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and healthcare providers.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and a strong sense of mission and purpose.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Clinical Operations Medical Director At Elevance Health Must Hold A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That They Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Practices And Procedures, And Can Effectively Lead A Team Of Medical Professionals.

  • Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In A Relevant Specialty Such As Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Or Pediatrics. Board Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In A Specific Area Of Medicine.

  • Clinical Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Leadership Or Managerial Role. This Experience Will Allow The Candidate To Effectively Oversee And Manage The Clinical Operations At Elevance Health.

  • Leadership Skills: A Clinical Operations Medical Director Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Guide A Team, Make Important Decisions, And Effectively Communicate With Staff, Patients, And Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations: Elevance Health Is A Healthcare Organization, And As Such, The Clinical Operations Medical Director Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Standards. This Includes Knowledge Of Hipaa, Osha, And Other Relevant Regulations To Ensure The Safety And Privacy Of Patients And Staff.
