- Conduct thorough investigations of coordination of benefits issues to ensure accuracy of claims payment
- Collaborate with various departments and external resources to gather necessary information and resolve complex COB issues
- Utilize analytical skills to identify root causes of COB discrepancies and develop solutions to prevent future occurrences
- Communicate effectively with clients, providers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on COB investigations and resolve any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of COB investigations, findings, and resolutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and guidelines related to coordination of benefits and apply them to investigations and processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of COB processes
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with clients and stakeholders
- Train and mentor junior investigators on COB processes and procedures
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as confidentiality and compliance standards, at all times.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Related Field
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Internal And External Stakeholders.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Claims Processing Or Coordination Of Benefits
