Job Description

At Elevance Health, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Biostatistician to join our team of health professionals and help provide the highest quality of care to our clients. We are seeking someone who is passionate about using their statistical expertise to advance our mission of improving public health.The successful candidate will have a combination of strong technical skills and interpersonal skills, as they will be responsible for collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics and quantitative analysis, as well as experience working in a healthcare setting.The Biostatistician will be responsible for developing and analyzing data to identify trends and patterns in patient health outcomes, as well as developing and implementing innovative solutions to address identified issues. They will also be responsible for communicating findings to healthcare professionals and stakeholders, and for developing protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.Required Qualifications:* Master’s degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field* At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting* Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with other professionals

Responsibilities of a Biostatistician:

  1. Develop and analyze data to identify trends and patterns in patient health outcomes.
  2. Develop and implement innovative solutions to address identified issues.
  3. Communicate findings to healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  4. Develop protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes.
  6. Utilize data analysis and statistical software to produce accurate and meaningful results.
  7. Monitor and evaluate the success of implemented solutions.
  8. Prepare reports and presentations to document results and progress.
  9. Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the field.
  10. Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills.
