
Behavioral Health Care Manager
At Elevance Health, we are looking for a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health Care Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with members and their families, medical and behavioral health providers, other social services organizations, and payers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. The successful Behavioral Health Care Manager will possess a Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; be licensed in the state of employment as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or licensed mental health professional; and have a minimum of three years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in an outpatient setting. Additionally, the candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of applicable state and federal mental health laws, regulations, and standards of practice. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; the ability to work independently and as part of a team; and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and under pressure. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with members, families, medical and behavioral health providers, and other social services organizations.
- Ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for members.
- Provide direct clinical services, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy services.
- Develop treatment plans and goals that are individualized to each member's unique needs and goals.
- Monitor members’ progress, adjust treatment plans accordingly, and provide ongoing support.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal mental health laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
- Provide education to members and families on mental health topics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in team meetings and clinical consultation as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
