
Audit and Reimbursement Analyst

- Conduct financial audits on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare reimbursement policies and procedures.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and potential areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize reimbursement processes and improve financial operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and policies related to reimbursement.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for healthcare finance and reimbursement.
- Monitor and track reimbursement trends and patterns to identify potential areas of risk.
- Prepare reports and presentations on audit findings and recommendations for management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements.
- Provide support and guidance to other team members on reimbursement processes and policies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve audit processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare finance and reimbursement for the organization.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of audit processes and findings.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Healthcare Reimbursement Or Auditing.
Strong Understanding Of Medicare And Medicaid Reimbursement Policies.
Proficiency In Financial Analysis And Data Management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
