Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Associate General Counsel to join Elevance Health! At Elevance Health, we are committed to providing our customers with the best healthcare experience, and the Associate General Counsel will help us to achieve that by providing legal advice and counsel to the organization.The successful candidate should have a strong background in healthcare law, as well as a comprehensive understanding of corporate and business law. The ideal candidate will also have excellent legal research and writing skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate legal advice and counsel.If you’re an experienced attorney who’s passionate about healthcare and ready to make a real difference, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide legal advice and counsel to the organization on healthcare law and related issues.
  2. Research and analyze legal issues in the healthcare industry.
  3. Prepare legal documents and contracts related to healthcare law.
  4. Provide legal advice to management and other stakeholders.
  5. Develop strategies to mitigate legal risks.
  6. Monitor changes in healthcare laws and regulations.
  7. Represent the organization in legal proceedings.
  8. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to healthcare law.
  9. Advise on corporate and business law.
  10. Keep up to date on legal developments in the healthcare industry.
