  1. Conduct actuarial analysis: Conduct thorough and accurate actuarial analysis to support the development and management of healthcare plans.
  2. Utilize data analysis tools: Utilize various data analysis tools and techniques to extract and manipulate data, and identify trends and patterns to inform decision-making.
  3. Monitor data accuracy: Monitor and ensure the accuracy of data used in actuarial analysis, and work with relevant teams to resolve any discrepancies.
  4. Develop and maintain actuarial models: Develop and maintain complex actuarial models to forecast healthcare costs, estimate risk, and evaluate plan performance.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, finance, and product development, to provide actuarial insights and support business initiatives.
  6. Conduct research and analysis: Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform actuarial assumptions and recommendations.
  7. Prepare reports and presentations: Prepare reports and presentations that clearly communicate actuarial findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
  8. Ensure compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to healthcare plans, and make necessary adjustments to actuarial models and assumptions as needed.
  9. Mentor junior team members: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, and foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  10. Stay updated on industry developments: Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in actuarial science, and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and methodologies.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree In Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Actuarial Role, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry

  • Knowledge Of Actuarial Principles And Methodologies, Including Experience With Actuarial Software And Tools

  • Professional Actuarial Certification, Such As Associate Of The Society Of Actuaries (Asa) Or Equivalent, Is Preferred.
