
Systems Engineer, Critical Care
As a Senior Systems Engineer, this individual is responsible for developing and maintaining the system requirements and architecture for new products and is expected to collaborate with multiple disciplines that support the development of new products within our Critical Care business. Create, test, and/or improve products by developing complex experiments and tests (including writing and executing protocols), analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports, based on engineering principles. Create/update more complex design control documents including system requirements, system architecture and design documents and support development of risk documents. Partner and collaborate with interdisciplinary engineers to define sub-system requirements and functionality. Evaluate input and form a technical recommendation including designing parts, components and subsystems.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
4+ years' experience in a systems engineering capacity is required
Previous experience working with medical devices/medical device industry is required
Direct experience with test method development and writing test plans is required
Previous experience working with lab/industrial equipment required (if applicable)
