
Sr. Engineer, Packaging, BD Advanced Patient Monitoring (Temporary)

- Develop and design innovative packaging solutions for advanced patient monitoring products in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, and manufacturing to ensure packaging meets product specifications and requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and make recommendations for packaging materials, methods, and processes to optimize product functionality and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead the development and implementation of packaging design and validation plans, including testing protocols and procedures.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, such as design drawings, specifications, and reports, to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Continuously review and improve packaging designs to enhance product performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Stay updated on industry and regulatory changes related to packaging materials, processes, and standards, and incorporate changes into product design and development.
- Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during packaging process development and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality packaging materials and components.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and other cross-functional meetings to provide packaging expertise and contribute to product development decisions.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and team members on packaging engineering principles and best practices.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards, throughout the packaging development process.
- Represent the company and its products in a professional manner at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field, With A Focus On Packaging Or Medical Device Design.
Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Packaging Engineering, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Standards Related To Packaging And Labeling Of Medical Devices, Such As Iso 11607 And Fda Regulations.
Experience With Project Management And Leading Cross-Functional Teams To Successfully Deliver Packaging Solutions On Time And Within Budget.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Internal And External Stakeholders To Drive Results.
