As a Senior Manager of Clinical Science in the Medical Affairs department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing clinical research initiatives and providing scientific expertise to support our products. Oversee and manage all clinical research initiatives within the organization.
Provide scientific expertise and guidance to support the development and commercialization of innovative medical technologies.
Lead and mentor a team of clinical scientists, ensuring their professional growth and development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment of clinical strategies with business objectives.
Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
Stay current with regulatory requirements and guidelines to ensure compliance in all clinical activities.
Manage clinical trial budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project milestones.
Analyze and interpret clinical data to draw meaningful conclusions and make recommendations for product development and improvement.
Communicate and present clinical findings and updates to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory agencies.
Continuously evaluate and improve clinical processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in the development and review of clinical study protocols, informed consent forms, and other relevant documents.
Act as a liaison between the medical affairs department and other functional areas, providing clinical insights and support as needed.
Represent the organization at scientific conferences, seminars, and other industry events.
Stay up-to-date with latest developments and advancements in clinical science and medical affairs, and incorporate relevant insights into company strategies and initiatives.
Uphold the organization's values and mission to improve patient outcomes and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In Life Sciences Or Related Field: A Senior Manager In Clinical Science At Edwards Lifesciences Should Possess A Strong Educational Background In Life Sciences Or A Related Field, Such As Medicine, Pharmacology, Or Biotechnology. This Will Provide The Necessary Foundation For Understanding The Complex Medical Technologies And Products Developed By The Company.
Extensive Experience In Medical Affairs: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Medical Affairs, With A Focus On Clinical Trials And Medical Information Dissemination. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Regulatory Landscape And Be Able To Effectively Navigate The Various Requirements For Product Approval And Post-Market Surveillance.
Knowledge Of Medical Device Industry: Edwards Lifesciences Is A Leading Medical Device Company, And The Senior Manager In Clinical Science Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Medical Device Industry And Its Unique Challenges. This Includes Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations, Industry Trends, And Competitor Products.
Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Role Will Require The Ability To Lead And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Be Able To Effectively Manage Cross-Functional Teams, And Have A Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Senior Manager In Clinical Science Will Be Responsible For Communicating Complex Medical And Scientific Information To A Variety Of Stakeholders, Including Internal Teams, Healthcare Professionals, And Regulatory Agencies.
