Develop and maintain a comprehensive product security strategy for Edwards Lifesciences, ensuring the security and safety of our medical products.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability tests to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation plans.
Design and implement secure solutions for our medical products, utilizing the latest security technologies and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into product development processes.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in product security, and provide recommendations to improve our security posture.
Lead security training and awareness programs for employees to ensure a strong security culture within the organization.
Serve as a subject matter expert on product security, providing guidance and support to teams across the company.
Develop and maintain relationships with external security experts and vendors to stay informed on emerging security threats and solutions.
Monitor and investigate security incidents and provide timely response and resolution.
Communicate security risks and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Stay compliant with industry regulations and standards related to product security.
Mentor and coach junior members of the product security team.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of new security tools and technologies.
Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of our product security program.
Represent Edwards Lifesciences in industry forums and events related to product security.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Product Security: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Product Security, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Securing Complex And Highly Regulated Medical Devices.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Senior Architect Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Global Regulatory Requirements For Medical Devices, Including Fda, Iso, And Eu Regulations, As Well As Experience With Conducting Security Risk Assessments And Audits.
Strong Technical Background: A Solid Foundation In Software Architecture, System Security, Cryptography, And Network Security Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience With Programming Languages Such As C++, Java, And Python.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Experience Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Complex Projects, As Well As Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Stakeholders Across The Organization.
Continuous Learning And Adaptability: In A Constantly Evolving Field Such As Product Security, The Senior Architect Should Have A Passion For Continuous Learning And Staying Updated With The Latest Trends, Tools, And Techniques To Effectively Secure Edwards' Products And Systems. Adaptability And Flexibility To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment Are Also Crucial For Success In This Role.
