
Occupational Health Specialist
Plan, implement and evaluate programs and services designed to improve health and safety for manufacturing employees. Educate, counsel, and coach employees on identifying, reducing and eliminating health and safety risks. Participate in health risk assessments, training, investigations, ergonomic assessments and advice sessions; Participate as an active member of the Injury Prevention program. Gather an occupational and environmental health history, conduct assessment and apply knowledge of work processes and hazards/exposures for accurate clinical decision-making, including fitness for duty and return to work. Identify trends using data analysis and control health and safety risks to inform and implement policy decisions and strategies within the department with a focus on prevention.
Must have a Certification in Occupational Health Nursing
Solid knowledge and understanding procedures in relates to occupational health
