- Develop and maintain standards for substation design, protection, and control systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to substation design and operation.
- Review and analyze substation designs and modifications to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
- Participate in the design, testing, and commissioning of new substations and upgrades.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential hazards related to substation operation.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to substation design, protection, and control systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standards, procedures, and technical reports.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on substation design and standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and select equipment for substation projects.
- Participate in project planning and budgeting activities.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Continuously monitor and analyze substation performance to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Substation, Projection, And Control Standards Development And Implementation.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Substation Design And Operations.
Strong Technical Skills In Power System Analysis And Design Software.
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
