- Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and industry standards for substations within the company.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of substations to identify any potential compliance issues.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations and industry standards and adapt compliance practices accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all new and existing substations are designed and operated in compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Identify potential risks and make recommendations for corrective actions to maintain compliance.
- Conduct training and provide guidance to substation operators on compliance requirements.
- Review and evaluate substation operations to ensure compliance with all safety and reliability standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all compliance activities and documentation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on substation compliance issues and provide guidance to other teams within the company.
- Participate in external audits and regulatory inspections, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and industry organizations to stay informed on compliance updates and best practices.
- Communicate compliance requirements and updates to relevant stakeholders within the company.
- Continuously evaluate and improve compliance processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Represent the company in compliance-related matters and maintain a positive and professional relationship with regulatory agencies.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Business Management, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In The Utility Industry, Specifically In Substation Operations And Compliance.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Substations And Electrical Infrastructure.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Technical Data And Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Compliance Requirements To Stakeholders.
