- Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee all aspects of the construction project, from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to project goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and project team members.
- Manage project budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses, and make adjustments as needed.
- Lead and motivate project team members to ensure high-quality work and timely completion of tasks.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timeline or budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination of project activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and address any issues.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project processes and procedures.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including identifying critical milestones and dependencies.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members.
Extensive Experience In Managing Large-Scale Construction Projects: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Major Construction Projects, Preferably In The Energy Or Utility Industry. This Experience Should Include Overseeing All Aspects Of Project Planning, Execution, And Delivery.
Strong Project Management Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Develop And Manage Project Schedules, Budgets, And Resources. They Should Also Have Experience In Risk Management, Change Management, And Stakeholder Management.
Technical Expertise: A Major Construction Project Manager Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Construction Principles And Techniques, As Well As Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations And Codes. They Should Also Be Familiar With Construction Software And Technology, Such As Project Management Tools And Building Information Modeling (Bim).
Leadership And Team Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Inspire And Motivate A Diverse Team. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Delegate Tasks, Provide Clear Direction, And Resolve Conflicts.
