  1. Develop and implement category management strategies to achieve cost savings and increase supplier performance.
  2. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing for goods and services.
  3. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and legal, to ensure alignment of category management strategies with overall business objectives.
  5. Monitor and manage supplier contracts and relationships to ensure compliance and mitigate any potential issues.
  6. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to streamline category management processes and increase efficiency.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve category management strategies.
  8. Lead supplier performance reviews and develop action plans to address any issues and drive performance improvements.
  9. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on category management initiatives and seek feedback for continuous improvement.
  10. Maintain accurate and timely records of category management activities and results.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in category management.
  13. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
  14. Represent the company professionally and act as a brand ambassador at all times.
