1. Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards to protect the organization from cyber threats.
2. Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks and recommend remediation actions.
3. Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security controls are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
6. Conduct security awareness trainings for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
7. Perform security audits and compliance assessments to ensure the organization is meeting regulatory and industry standards.
8. Investigate and document security incidents, and provide recommendations for remediation and prevention.
9. Manage security tools and technologies, and make recommendations for upgrades or new solutions as needed.
10. Communicate regularly with senior management on the status of the organization's security posture and any emerging risks.
11. Mentor and train junior security analysts to help develop their skills and knowledge in information security.
12. Participate in incident response planning and testing to ensure the organization is prepared to respond to security incidents effectively.
13. Work with third-party vendors and partners to ensure the security of shared systems and data.
14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security processes, procedures, and configurations.
15. Lead and/or participate in security-related projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
