Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Learning & Development Instructional Designer to join our team at DXC Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging and effective learning programs for our employees. As an instructional designer, you will have the opportunity to utilize your creativity and expertise in instructional design to develop innovative training solutions that align with our company's goals and objectives. We are looking for a candidate who is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of adult learning principles.   1. Develop and design engaging and effective learning programs for employees, utilizing your expertise in instructional design.
  2. Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and create learning objectives that align with company goals and objectives.
  3. Utilize adult learning principles to design training solutions that meet the needs of our diverse employee population.
  4. Design and develop a variety of learning materials, including instructor-led training, e-learning courses, job aids, and other training resources.
  5. Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to identify skill gaps and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in instructional design to continuously improve learning programs.
  7. Work closely with the Learning & Development team to ensure consistency and alignment with overall learning strategy.
  8. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to source and implement new learning technologies and tools.
  9. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality learning solutions within established timelines.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other team members on instructional design principles and processes.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and incorporate their feedback into the design and development process.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve existing learning programs to ensure they are meeting the needs of our employees and driving business results.
  13. Track and report on key performance indicators to demonstrate the impact and effectiveness of learning programs.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations, when designing and delivering learning programs.
  15. Proactively identify and address any potential issues or challenges that may arise during the design and implementation of learning programs.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Instructional Design, Education, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Or Training Delivery.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Instructional Design Methodologies.

  • Proficiency In Elearning Authoring Tools And Learning Management Systems (Lms).

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Subject Matter Experts And Stakeholders.
