  1. Design and develop cloud-based solutions using Java and the Azure ecosystem.
  2. Collaborate with industry experts to identify and implement innovative solutions.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing and Java technologies.
  4. Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards for Java and Azure.
  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions.
  6. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Java and Azure development.
  7. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  8. Continuously learn and improve skills in Java, Azure, and other relevant technologies.
  9. Communicate project progress and challenges to team members and stakeholders.
  10. Adhere to DXC Technology's policies and procedures, including security and quality standards.
  11. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  12. Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  13. Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation.
  14. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support.
  15. Proactively identify and propose solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of development processes.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient In Java Programming Language: A Java/Azure Developer At Dxc Technology Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Java Programming Language, Including Its Core Concepts, Data Structures, And Algorithms. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In Developing Scalable And High-Performing Applications Using Java.

  • Experience With Microsoft Azure: Candidates Should Have Hands-On Experience With Microsoft Azure And Its Various Services Such As Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Sql Database, And Azure Storage. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Azure Deployment Models And Experience With Cloud-Native Development.

  • Knowledge Of Software Development Methodologies: Dxc Technology Looks For Candidates With A Solid Understanding Of Software Development Methodologies, Such As Agile And Devops. They Should Have Experience Working In A Collaborative Team Environment And Be Able To Deliver High-Quality Code Within Tight Deadlines.

  • Experience With Continuous Integration And Deployment: As A Java/Azure Developer At Dxc Technology, Candidates Should Have Experience With Continuous Integration And Deployment Tools Such As Jenkins, Maven, And Git. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Automated Testing And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Debug Code Efficiently.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Communication Skills: A Java/Azure Developer Should Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Resolve Technical Issues Efficiently. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Team Members And Stakeholders, Both Technical And Non-Technical.
