Job Description

Welcome to the Dunkin' team! We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join us as a Shift Leader. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations and ensure the smooth running of our store. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service, have strong leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.   1. Oversee and manage daily operations of the store during assigned shifts.
  2. Train and supervise team members to ensure they are providing exceptional customer service.
  3. Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper product rotation.
  5. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and meets all sanitation and safety standards.
  6. Create and maintain employee schedules, taking into account business needs and employee availability.
  7. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, provide feedback, and address any concerns.
  8. Lead by example and uphold company standards and policies at all times.
  9. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  10. Collaborate with the store manager to identify areas for improvement and implement new procedures or initiatives.
  11. Assist with new hire training and onboarding processes.
  12. Act as a role model for the team, promoting teamwork, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
  13. Stay informed about current promotions, products, and company initiatives.
  14. Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and be able to make recommendations to customers.
  15. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales and productivity goals set by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Leadership Experience: A Shift Leader At Dunkin' Should Have Prior Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In The Food And Beverage Industry. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Manage A Team And Make Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Shift Leader, It Is Crucial To Effectively Communicate With Both Team Members And Customers. This Includes Providing Clear Instructions, Addressing Any Issues Or Concerns, And Maintaining A Positive And Professional Demeanor.

  • Time Management And Multitasking Abilities: A Shift Leader Is Responsible For Overseeing Multiple Tasks And Ensuring They Are Completed In A Timely Manner. This Requires Strong Time Management And Multitasking Skills To Keep The Team On Track And Maintain Efficiency.

  • Knowledge Of Dunkin' Policies And Procedures: To Be An Effective Shift Leader, One Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Dunkin's Policies And Procedures, Including Food Safety And Sanitation Guidelines. This Ensures The Safety Of Both Team Members And Customers And Maintains The Quality Of Products Being Served.
