- Oversee and manage all aspects of food safety within the organization, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement food safety policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain the highest level of food safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential risks and areas for improvement in food safety processes.
- Train and educate team members on food safety best practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques.
- Monitor and track food safety incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all food products and ingredients meet safety standards.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in food safety regulations, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Conduct regular food safety trainings and workshops for all employees to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external food safety organizations and agencies to stay informed on industry best practices.
- Lead crisis management efforts in the event of a food safety issue, working closely with all relevant departments to resolve the issue in a timely and effective manner.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Food Science, Nutrition, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Food Safety And Quality Assurance In The Food Industry.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Food Safety Regulations And Guidelines.
Previous Experience Managing A Team And Implementing Food Safety Programs And Procedures.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Others On Food Safety Protocols.
