- Oversee and manage all laboratory operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the facility.
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and ethical standards.
- Lead and supervise a team of laboratory technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of research projects.
- Maintain and manage laboratory equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
- Order and manage inventory of laboratory supplies, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.

- Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory activities, including data, experiments, and inventory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Train and mentor new laboratory staff members, providing guidance on laboratory protocols and procedures.
- Stay updated on new technologies and techniques in the field of scientific research, and make recommendations for their implementation in the laboratory.
- Monitor and manage laboratory budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the laboratory team.
- Prepare and present reports on laboratory operations and research progress to senior management.
