  1. Conduct laboratory experiments: Perform various laboratory experiments and procedures as directed by the research team, adhering to protocols and safety guidelines.
  2. Maintain laboratory equipment: Ensure that all laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning correctly for experiments.
  3. Record and analyze data: Accurately record and analyze experimental data, keeping detailed records and maintaining data integrity.
  4. Collaborate with research team: Work closely with the research team to plan and execute experiments, troubleshoot issues, and share results.
  5. Prepare samples and reagents: Prepare samples and reagents for experiments, following established protocols and procedures.

  13. Adhere to research ethics: Adhere to all ethical standards and guidelines in conducting research, including maintaining confidentiality and integrity of data.
  14. Complete administrative tasks: Assist with administrative tasks related to research, such as ordering supplies, scheduling experiments, and maintaining laboratory documents.
  15. Continuously improve laboratory processes: Continuously seek ways to improve laboratory processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy of experiments.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Research Laboratory Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Biochemistry.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.

  • Proficiency In Various Laboratory Techniques, Such As Tissue Culture, Pcr, And Microscopy.

  • Knowledge Of Basic Laboratory Safety Protocols And Experience With Maintaining Laboratory Equipment.

Duke University is a private research university in Durham, North Carolina. Founded by Methodists and Quakers in the present-day town of Trinity in 1838, the school moved to Durham in 1892. In 1924, tobacco and electric power industrialist James Buchanan Duke established The Duke Endowment and the institution changed its name to honor his deceased father, Washington Duke.
