- Provide exceptional and compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Utilize nursing skills and expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat patients in critical moments.
- Demonstrate quick thinking and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans for patients.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency care.
- Serve as a patient advocate and ensure their needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Serve as a role model for professionalism and ethical behavior.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and processes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of care provided in the Emergency Department.
Current And Unrestricted Registered Nurse License In The State Of North Carolina.
Bls, Acls, And Pals Certification.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Equivalent Education And Experience.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Registered Nurse In An Emergency Department Setting.
Strong Critical Thinking, Assessment, And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
