
Oncology New Patient Coordinator
At Duke University, we are looking for an Oncology New Patient Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring patients receive the highest level of coordination of care and assistance throughout their treatment process. The ideal candidate should have a passion for providing outstanding patient care and should have exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellence and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an individual with a minimum of two years of experience in oncology and/or healthcare, experience working with electronic medical records, and strong knowledge of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and care. The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly and accurately assess information, prioritize tasks, and work within a team setting. They should be able to accurately and effectively convey information to patients and their families in a compassionate and professional manner.
