- Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be to provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the Central Carolina Trauma Surgery team.
- Collaborate with renowned surgeons: The individual in this role will work closely with a team of renowned surgeons to deliver life-saving care and contribute to groundbreaking research.
- Conduct patient assessments: The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for conducting thorough patient assessments, including physical exams, medical history reviews, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop treatment plans: Based on patient assessments, the individual will develop and implement appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments: The individual will be responsible for administering medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress: The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for closely monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Valid Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant License In The State Of North Carolina.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Surgical Setting, Preferably In Trauma Surgery.
Certification By A Recognized National Accreditation Board For Nurse Practitioners Or Physician Assistants.
Knowledge And Proficiency In Advanced Assessment, Diagnosis, And Treatment Of Trauma Patients.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
