- Perform nuclear medicine procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety measures are followed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate procedures and imaging techniques for each patient.
- Accurately obtain and record patient history and information, and explain procedures to patients and their families.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or adverse reactions to medical staff.
- Maintain and update patient records and imaging files in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging.
- Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques through continuing education and training.
- Foster a positive and professional relationship with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Comply with all organizational policies and procedures, including safety, infection control, and ethical standards.
- Contribute to a team-based approach to patient care and actively participate in staff meetings and trainings.

Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Current Certification By The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Nuclear Medicine Equipment, Including Pet/Ct And Spect/Ct Scanners.
Strong Understanding Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Ability To Follow Strict Safety Measures To Protect Patients And Staff.
