1. Perform proper decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols and guidelines.
2. Inspect and assemble surgical instrument trays and sets to ensure completeness and functionality.
3. Maintain accurate records of sterilization and processing activities, including tracking of inventory and expiration dates.
4. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials.
5. Collaborate with surgical and clinical staff to ensure timely availability of instruments and equipment for procedures.
