- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to create and execute marketing plans that align with the overall goals and mission of Duke University.
- Utilize market research and data analysis to inform marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage and maintain relationships with alumni and donors, understanding their interests and motivations to effectively engage and steward them.
- Oversee the creation and production of marketing materials, including print and digital content, to ensure consistency and effectiveness in messaging.
- Use social media and other digital platforms to promote alumni events, programs, and achievements.
- Monitor and track the success of marketing efforts and make adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with the development team to create targeted marketing campaigns to drive philanthropic support from alumni and donors.
- Stay current on trends and best practices in higher education marketing and apply them to effectively engage with alumni and donors.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Duke University, promoting its impact and achievements to external audiences.
- Manage and monitor the marketing budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to support marketing efforts.
- Train and mentor junior marketing staff and provide guidance and support to other team members as needed.
- Represent Duke University at various events and conferences to promote our brand and engage with alumni and donors.
- Continuously evaluate and improve marketing strategies to meet the evolving needs of Duke University and its alumni community.
Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Business, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Marketing, Communications, Or Stewardship, Preferably In Higher Education Or Non-Profit Sector.
Strong Project Management Skills And Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With A Demonstrated Ability To Create Engaging And Effective Marketing Materials.
Familiarity With Duke University And The Ability To Effectively Represent The Institution And Its Values To Alumni And Donors.

Duke University is a private research university in Durham, North Carolina. Founded by Methodists and Quakers in the present-day town of Trinity in 1838, the school moved to Durham in 1892.
