- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to enhance the reputation and visibility of Duke University.
- Collaborate with team members to create and execute innovative marketing campaigns.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of marketing projects, including budgeting, timelines, and deliverables.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for effective marketing strategies.
- Ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to Duke University’s brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather information and insights for marketing initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of marketing materials.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing efforts.
- Monitor and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired results.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure a high level of performance and teamwork.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets to maximize resources and achieve goals.
- Represent Duke University at conferences, events, and other public engagements.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and superiors to provide updates, progress reports, and recommendations.
- Uphold Duke University’s mission, values, and brand image in all marketing efforts.
- Continuously evaluate and improve marketing processes and strategies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Marketing Or Communications, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Marketing Strategies And Tactics, Including Digital Advertising, Email Campaigns, Social Media, And Event Planning.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Create Compelling Content For Various Audiences.
Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Marketing Campaigns, As Well As Analyzing And Reporting On Their Effectiveness.

Duke University is a private research university in Durham, North Carolina. Founded by Methodists and Quakers in the present-day town of Trinity in 1838, the school moved to Durham in 1892.
