Job Description

Duke University is looking for an experienced Lab Research Analyst to join our world-class research team. Our ideal candidate has a passion for science and an understanding of laboratory and research protocols. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory research and analyzing data to ensure accuracy of results.The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field. Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred, as well as a thorough knowledge of laboratory techniques and protocols. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with a team of researchers. A strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are also essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, as well as preparing reports and presentations.We are searching for an individual with a deep passion for science and a commitment to excellence. About Duke University

Duke University is a private research university in Durham, North Carolina. Founded by Methodists and Quakers in the present-day town of Trinity in 1838, the school moved to Durham in 1892. In 1924, tobacco and electric power industrialist James Buchanan Duke established The Duke Endowment and the institution changed its name to honor his deceased father, Washington Duke. Duke's campus spans over 8,600 acres (3,500 hectares) on three contiguous sub-campuses in Durham as well as a marine lab in Beaufort. The West Campus—designed largely by architect Julian Abele—incorporates Gothic architecture with the 210-foot (64-meter) Duke Chapel at the campus' center and highest point of elevation, is adjacent to the Medical Center. East Campus, 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) away, home to all first-years, contains Georgian-style architecture.
