Certification As A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna): The Candidate Should Have A Current And Valid Certification As A Cna. This Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Completed A Recognized Training Program And Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Assist In Patient Care.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association. This Certification Is Necessary To Perform Basic Life-Saving Techniques And Is Required For All Healthcare Professionals.
Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience Working In An Emergency Department Or Other Healthcare Setting Is Preferred. This Shows That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Fast-Paced Environment Of An Emergency Department And Has Experience Handling Emergency Situations.
