- Develop and implement innovative strategies and programs to improve patient experience in our ambulatory care settings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within DHIP and across the organization to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
- Lead and oversee the implementation of system-wide programs to enhance patient experience, including training and support for staff.
- Utilize data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in patient experience and healthcare delivery to inform program development.
- Foster a culture of patient-centric care and consistently advocate for the needs and preferences of our patients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, staff, and patients, to ensure alignment and support for patient experience initiatives.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of professionals responsible for executing patient experience programs.
- Develop and manage the budget for patient experience initiatives.
- Represent DHIP and Duke University at conferences, events, and other external engagements related to patient experience and healthcare innovation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for patient experience within the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and workflows to optimize patient experience.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to patient experience.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with other departments and organizations within Duke University to promote collaboration and shared learning.
- Act as a role model for the organization's core values and foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Leadership, Preferably In An Ambulatory Setting.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Patient Experience And System Improvement Strategies, Including Experience Implementing And Managing Initiatives.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
Demonstrated Experience In Project Management, Including The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
