  1. Coordinate and manage research studies, including recruitment, enrollment, and data collection.
  2. Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date study documentation and records.
  4. Communicate effectively with study participants, researchers, and other team members to ensure smooth operation of studies.
  5. Organize and attend study team meetings and provide updates on study progress.
  6. Conduct quality checks on study data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of study protocols and procedures.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and institutions to facilitate multi-site studies.
  9. Monitor study budgets and communicate any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate parties.
  10. Provide support to researchers, including scheduling appointments, preparing study materials, and managing study supplies.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of study data and participant information.
  12. Stay current with relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.
  13. Train and supervise research assistants or other staff involved in the study.
  14. Participate in the development of research proposals and grant applications.
  15. Contribute to the dissemination of study findings through presentations and publications.
  16. Represent Duke University and the research team in a professional and ethical manner.
  17. Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills related to clinical research.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare, Life Sciences, Or Nursing.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research, Preferably In A University Or Hospital Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines And Regulations Related To Clinical Research.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Deadlines.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Researchers, And Other Team Members.

About Duke University

Duke University is a private research university in Durham, North Carolina. Founded by Methodists and Quakers in the present-day town of Trinity in 1838, the school moved to Durham in 1892. In 1924, tobacco and electric power industrialist James Buchanan Duke established The Duke Endowment and the institution changed its name to honor his deceased father, Washington Duke.
