- Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in interventional psychiatry and BHOP to guide and mentor staff in providing evidence-based treatment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the delivery of mental health services within the department.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient treatment.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Clinical Nurse Iv Leader At Duke University Must Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Will Ensure That They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide High-Quality Patient Care.
Registered Nurse (Rn) License: The Candidate Must Have A Valid Rn License In The State Of North Carolina Or Be Eligible To Obtain One. This License Is A Requirement For All Clinical Nursing Positions At Duke University.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Psychiatric And Behavioral Health Nursing: The Clinical Nurse Iv Leader Must Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Psychiatric And Behavioral Health Setting. This Will Ensure That They Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Complexities Of Mental Health Treatment And Can Effectively Lead Their Team.
Leadership Experience: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Role, Such As A Charge Nurse Or Nurse Manager. This Demonstrates Their Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Make Critical Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Certification In Psychiatric And Mental Health Nursing: While Not Required, Having A Certification In Psychiatric And Mental Health Nursing, Such As A Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (Rn-Bc), Is Highly Desirable. This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Commitment To The Field Of Psychiatric Nursing.
