Job Description

At Duke University, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Dietician to join our team. As a Clinical Dietician, you will be responsible for providing nutritional guidance and counseling to patients and their families, helping them to understand the importance of nutrition for individual health. You will also be required to develop and implement nutrition care plans, and provide education and training to other healthcare staff. We are looking for someone who is passionate about nutrition and health, and has the qualifications to back it up. Successful candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Science or a related field, and be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. You should also have experience in clinical nutrition, including developing and implementing nutrition care plans, and providing counseling and education to patients and their families. About Duke University

Duke University is a private research university in Durham, North Carolina. Founded by Methodists and Quakers in the present-day town of Trinity in 1838, the school moved to Durham in 1892. In 1924, tobacco and electric power industrialist James Buchanan Duke established The Duke Endowment and the institution changed its name to honor his deceased father, Washington Duke. Duke's campus spans over 8,600 acres (3,500 hectares) on three contiguous sub-campuses in Durham as well as a marine lab in Beaufort.
