Certification As A Medical Assistant: A Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Credential From The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The American Medical Technologists (Amt) Is Required For This Role. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Education And Experience Requirements And Has Passed An Examination.
Knowledge Of Oncology And Urology Procedures: As A Medical Assistant In A Cancer Center, It Is Essential To Have A Strong Understanding Of Oncology And Urology Procedures. This Includes Knowledge Of Common Treatments, Medications, And Medical Equipment Used In These Specialties.
