
Vice President - Community Provider
The Duke University Health System is searching for an innovative and experienced Vice President - Community Provider to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide leadership and direction in the development and expansion of Duke University Health System's community health services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for advancing healthcare in an evolving healthcare environment and a commitment to driving the highest quality patient care.We are looking for an individual with a proven background in healthcare leadership to lead our community health services. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an academic medical center. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in healthcare administration or a related field, and a proven track record of developing and managing external programs. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate staff, are essential. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and expansion of Duke University Health System's community health services.
- Create and maintain relationships with external healthcare providers.
- Develop and manage external healthcare programs.
- Utilize exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate staff.
- Ensure highest quality patient care.
- Oversee budget and financial management of community health programs.
- Monitor progress and success of initiatives, and create strategies to improve outcomes.
- Promote diversity and inclusion within the healthcare system.
- Develop and implement policy and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
