- Analyze and evaluate current information systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency within the Duke University Health System.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of information systems within the Duke University Health System.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to information systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the Duke University Health System's information systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for information systems, including system specifications, user manuals, and support guides.
- Train and support end-users on new and existing information systems, ensuring smooth adoption and usage.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to evaluate and implement new technologies and systems that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Monitor and report on the performance of information systems, identifying and addressing any potential issues or bottlenecks.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Duke University Health System.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In System Analysis And Design.
Experience With Healthcare Information Systems, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Complex Technical Issues.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
