  1. Analyze and evaluate current information systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency within the Duke University Health System.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of information systems within the Duke University Health System.
  4. Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to information systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the Duke University Health System's information systems.
  7. Develop and maintain technical documentation for information systems, including system specifications, user manuals, and support guides.
  8. Train and support end-users on new and existing information systems, ensuring smooth adoption and usage.
  9. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to evaluate and implement new technologies and systems that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  10. Monitor and report on the performance of information systems, identifying and addressing any potential issues or bottlenecks.
  11. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  12. Proactively identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Duke University Health System.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In System Analysis And Design.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Complex Technical Issues.
