  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Patient Transport Services department, ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  2. Lead a team of transport staff and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure they are providing exceptional patient care.
  3. Create and maintain schedules for transport staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of transport staff, providing feedback and addressing any performance issues in a timely manner.
  5. Develop and implement policies and procedures for patient transport, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient transport services and ensure timely and safe transfers.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient transport activities, including patient information, transport requests, and equipment maintenance.
  8. Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
  9. Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements and cost-saving measures.
  10. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among transport staff and other departments.
  11. Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in patient transport services, and implement new strategies to improve efficiency and quality of care.
  12. Serve as a role model and uphold the organization's values and standards of patient care at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Supervisory Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Transport Services.

  • Knowledge Of Best Practices And Regulations Related To Patient Transport And Patient Flow Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Decision-Making Abilities, With A Focus On Improving Efficiency And Quality Of Patient Care.
