
Registered Nurse - Multiple Myeloma Coordinator
At Duke University Health System, we are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Multiple Myeloma Coordinator. We seek an experienced RN to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in the evaluation and management of Multiple Myeloma patients.The ideal candidate should be a compassionate and detail-oriented individual with excellent clinical care skills. The RN should have an in-depth knowledge of Multiple Myeloma treatments and a passion for providing quality care. The Multiple Myeloma Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating patient care, engaging in research initiatives, and providing support and education to patients and their families.This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of dedicated medical professionals and make a meaningful impact on the lives of Multiple Myeloma patients.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina• At least 3 years of experience in oncology nursing• Knowledge of Multiple Myeloma treatments• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities of the Multiple Myeloma Coordinator:
- Provide comprehensive and patient-centered care to Multiple Myeloma patients.
- Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust care accordingly.
- Coordinate patient care with other medical professionals.
- Educate patients and their families about Multiple Myeloma treatments and support services.
- Participate in research initiatives related to Multiple Myeloma.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with other nurses and medical staff to ensure quality care.
- Follow established protocols and safety regulations.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
Ability To Provide Patient And Family Education
Current Nc Nursing License
- Years Of Clinical Experience In Oncology
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Multiple Myeloma
